Will any wireless room thermostat work with any receiver?

You will need to replace sender + receiver units,I recommend drayton rf stat,we used to use Siemens but lots of communication problems so changed,if you open up old receiver unit should have power supply,L+N,and switch pair,wire up new receiver same way,cant go wrong.
