How come so many musicians seem to be vegetarian?

the list is much longer than that. and i would say that the ratio is almost certainly above that of the general public, particularly the male portion of the general public, which would fly in the face of the "you just hear about it more because meat eaters dont talk about it" theory. i just think if you look at the people who are most likely to become musicians and the people who are most likely to become vegetarians there is quite a bit of overlap. there is no cause and effect scenario being played out, just mildly overlapping larger societal trends.
