How can Clegg be in doubt about who to align with?

I think he will go with the Conservatives, he needs to keep his own party happy so he will act like he is considering Labour, I think they want Gorden out of the way and now that he has announced he is going Cleg will make a deal with the Conservatives, well goodbye pension credit etc.
