Question to Muslims...?

Just so you know, I grew up catholic but now I have no connection to the church, therefore it's not like I'm biased in any religious way. Also I have plenty of muslim friends and I think it's amazing at how dedicted you are to your religion and beliefs. However, there is a small fight I have to pick with you. Why is it everyone gets so upset when some comedy show or cartoon attempts to make fun of mohammed. Let's look at the example of the cartoon in Denmark a few years ago. All they did was post one comic and with the Muslim reaction I thought the world was going to end. Jesus gets made fun of on tv all the time (on shows like South Park and Family Guy) and while I believe in him I still appreciate the humor. And maybe I'm being convinient but I have a feeling he would too. So what's the deal with the Muslims getting all upset over one stupid cartoon?
