Why is John McCain labeled as pro-war consistently?
Any soldier who has been through war knows full well that war is hell on earth and many realize that it is a neccesarry evil sometimes. McCain supports the Iraq War on the basis that he does not want to see the Fall of Saigon repeated in Iraq and he knows military matters better than George Bush, Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama. He is more realistic in speculating that we will be in Iraq for a 100 years than Hillary Clinton's laughable timetable of 60 days. It would takes months just to get the planes, aircraft carriers, supplies, etc. to Iraq, nevermind picking up all of the soldiers and bringing all of them back, which will take more than 1 trip. Hillary Clinton is saying she will have all troops out in 60 days just to get votes. In the end, if Hillary is our President, she will end up voting with the officials at the Pentagon based on what they want done, which is to stay in Iraq. McCain does not want a preemptive war with Iran, but is not leaving it off the table.
