This white girI said I looked like I was electrocuted?

So earlier in school when I was in lecture hall, I was having an argument with this white girl about Affirmative Action. She ended up getting angry and said I look like I stuck my finger in an electric socket (she was making comments about my hair) and everyone started laughing at me. When the bell rang I rushed out the door and spent the rest of the day eating twinkies and crying in the bathroom. What can I do to make my hair seem more attractive?
