Well, the concentrations of the solutions must be known; if the volumes are not what you think they are, then the concentrations won't be accurate, right? If there's more volume than you think, that's one problem; if the volume is lower than you think, then the concentration will be differnt in the other direction. As for the question about the buret tip, what do you notice in the tip after you've done your first titration?
