Af due today but no sign! very sore bbs and veiny too?

no sign of af this month (fingers crossed) i sometimes get slightly tender bbs but this month they are very painful and veiny, i look like a road map lol they hurt esp on the sides, any body else had this and got a BFP? I have held back from testing this month after getting so many dissapointing BFN in the past, what do you think?
