Need help on ESSAY PROMT.. i need some guidelines pleeeease?

Take three to five generalizations about the twenties, like it was a time of booming prosperity, and tell how it affected the characters' actions, lives, personalities, and/or choices. If times were different, would they have made the same choices? Could they have made the same choices? Would they have had the same motives and desires? You know the rest if you read the book.
